This is the second painting that I did of this girl lying on Ft. Lauderdale beach. It's not a topless beach, I took the liberty of removing it myself. It's done on a 6x8 piece of hardboard that I've painted black first, including the sides. It's ready for hanging directly on the wall without the cost of framing or can be placed on a small table easel.
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
