I set out one drizzly morning this summer with my camera and rode around the Hingham shoreline looking for what might make a good painting. This is my first painting from that day. Its at the beginning of Worlds End. I normally paint bright sunny days (except for my umbrella ladies) so this was a challenge for me to keep it subdued.

As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
