I just loved doing this little painting, the warm skin and sand against the cool water is so much fun to paint. It's done on an 6 x 6 piece of cradled hardboard. I paint it black, including the 1inch sides. It can be hung on the wall as is without framing or I personally like it on a little easel where you can place it anywhere in your home.
About Laura Lee Zanghetti
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
