Laura Zanghetti is holding a one day Workshop. She'll be teaching her Shabby Chic Florals in acrylics.

To be held on Saturday, September 24th 9-4 at Studio East in Walpole.

$140 is the fee and this includes an 18x18 textured canvas.

The long awaited and anticipated "ANNUAL ART SACRIFICE SALE" is finally here. Members of the Canton Art Association are allowed to submit up to 15 original works of art for no more than $150 each. This is the most popular art sale in the area and has been for over 50 years.

Laura Zanghetti will have 15 pieces there ranging from $20 to $150. Many of these pieces would normally go for $450 or more . So if you would like to start a collection of original art or if you are a seasoned art collector this is the show for you. Also....the perfect holiday gift for a loved one.

It is held at Canton, Ma Public Library at 786 Washington St. Saturday, November 30th from 2 to 4 p.m.

For the best pieces the line starts forming early...so come by and claim your spot.

My favorite Art Show is next weekend September 21 & 22 held by the Quincy Art Association. They'll be putting up a huge tent where the paintings will be hung and out side they have games and activities for children of all ages. There will be marching bands and jugglers and local dance groups to entertain all.

It all begins on Friday evening with the Awards Ceremony that they do in style with beer and wine and wonderful hors d'oeuvres.

Artist Laura Lee Zanghetti is exhibiting her art at Bellas Restaurant in Rockland, MA for the month's of November and December 2012. The paintings will hang in the Dining room Bar which is now open from Wednesday through Sunday.

She will have two of her "umbrella ladies" among other new pieces on display so stop by for nice glass of wine and enjoy!

Artist Laura Lee Zanghetti has been invited back to exhibit her art work at Bella's Restaurant in Randolph, MA for the months of November and December 2012. Laura will have some of her latest works on exhibit and for sale in the "Wine Bar" at Bellas.

The Gallery at Patriot Place is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Lee Zanghetti as one of our Anchor Artists. Laura is presently working in oils and acrylics and painting full time in her home studio. Her favorite subject has always been the seashore, but most recently she's added what she calls her "Umbrella Ladies".... Laura says "these umbrella paintings have been a hit...selling as fast as I can paint them".

The Gallery is open on weekends....Fri. 5:00-9:00, Sat. 11:00-9:00 and Sun. 11:00-6:00.

Artist Laura Lee Zanghetti takes first place in the "Breakout" Exhibit at the MMAS Black Box Theater & Morini Gallery in Mansfield, MA. For this exhibit artists were called apon to stretch their creativity beyond their comfort zone and to recognize new areas of growth. They were told to enter two paintings, one that represents who they normally are as artists and the second was to be their "Breakout" piece. These two pieces were hung side by side in the gallery and judged.

Laura says "This was the perfect show for me to enter, with these new techniques I've been trying I just knew I had to enter it". Well this was the show for her because Laura not only won first place but she also "SOLD" her "Breakout" piece at the artist's reception, titled "Stepping Out".

Laura plans on painting a lot more in this new "Breakout" style for future shows.

This show in on going until April 22, 2012. The gentleman who purchased "Stepping Out" graciously agreed to let it...

Artist "Laura Lee Zanghetti" is to exhibit her work at Patriot Place Art Gallery in Foxboro, MA. She will be there June 3rd from 5 to 9p.m. and Saturday, June 4th and Sunday June 5th 11am to 6p.m. She's exhibiting with other fine artists from the Foxbory Art Association.
