I took many photos of this woman on the beach in Lauderdale By The Sea while vacationing there this past March. This day was very windy with beautiful crashing waves. It was very lucky that I was there when this woman came with the long red skirt blowing in the wind...I thought I hit the lottery! I did get her permission to take photos of her and her two kids. Many more paintings to come with this family.
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
