I sold the first painting I did of these two little girls last summer. I missed them so I painted it again but instead of acrylics I used oils. I like it so much better than the first. This has been framed in a beautiful "Floating Frame" black with brushed
nickel. This piece has won two first places this summer and now it has taken "Best Of Show" at Quincy Art Fest 2014. I am very proud to have won this award at this prestigious show with many wonderful works exhibiting.
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
