This is the second time painting this image with the (imitation) Gold Leaf. This one is much larger, measuring 12x24 unframed. I ordered a beautiful frame for it. There is much to learn about using this medium. It is fun and beautiful to work with. I look forward to using it in many different ways in the future. Stay tuned!
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
