A couple of weeks ago while I worked the Gallery at Patriot Place, I painted 4 small cow studies. These were also a study in atmosphere. These were really fun to do, I loved the feeling of sun and shadow and the murky feeling off in the distance. I have some nice frames for these...they'll be at the gallery soon.
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
